So I decided to go ahead and buy the car and also purchased extended warranty that they offered for 5 years or 60000 miles for 1700 $. I checked the CARFAX account and it showed a clean title history. Also they told they have a 1 month warranty on it and that they would fix any problem I find within a month (which was a big time lie as you will learn further). This guy (Fred) and the main dealer called Edmond (again an Iranian and must be having a different name) convinced me that car was perfect and I thought it was OK if I didn't have it checked by some other mechanic. We brought this to notice of the dealer and he said he could easily have them fixed. The door rubber rims were torn at some places, rear brake light was bit broken and not even working. I was wrong in believing that.Īfter the test drive, me and my friends took indepth look at the car and found many things faulty. I asked the person (Name : Fred - he is an Iranian, so dont know his real name) as to why the light was ON. So when I test drove, the experience was great, but I found that ABS light was ON. However, I wasnt much familiar with Honda accords. One of the dealers was Goodway Auto Sales or ( ). I zeroed in on few dealers (used car dealers) and went for test drives.
